Sunny Leone underdressed for a period drama

 Sunny Leone

Looks like Sunny Leone is on a roll. From porn films to Bigg Boss to Bollywood and now, the sexy siren is all set to make a splash in the Tamil film industry too. It takes years for aspirants to get a break in films but for her, the industry had laid out the red carpet. Soon after Bigg Boss, she had Jism 2 awaiting her outside the house and then, there was no looking back for her. Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela, Raees...she had a line up of releases. Even now her kitty is full with films, endorsements, ramp walks and item numbers.

This time Vadivudaiyan has roped in Sunny to play an author-backed role in the period drama Veeramadevi. The first look and the title of the movie has been recently revealed by Sunny through her twitter handle. FYI, the film will get released in five languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Just take a wild guess what’s Sunny’s role in the film. Item girl? No. Seductress? No. Before you run too wild, let me spill the beans. She is playing the role of a warrior. Yes, now you'll see your fantasy woman do martial arts, sword fighting and horse riding. But when it comes to her look in the film's poster, she is too underdressed for a period drama. Draped in tie-and-dye saree and bejewelled in a pair of jhumkas, bindiya and an understated necklace, her look is too simple by the current standard of period films.

Anyway, Sunny Leone is a brand that caters to a special audience group and it likes her, irrespective of her role. You know what I mean. Way to go…
