Dipika Kakad is not a sanskaari bahu anymore

Dipika Kakad is all set to shed her sanskaari bahu image. This was the very reason why she had quit the popular serial Sasural Simar Ka to participate in the celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye with Shoaib Ibrahim. She had played the role of Simar Bhardwaj for good six years and had become not just the household name but also an epitome of a sanskaari bahu. Mothers and mother-in-laws would cite her example as that of an ideal bahu to their daughters and daughter-in-laws. Later, also came a stage when she got to play fantasy roles like makdi, nagin and ghost too. Although she was happy playing that part, as an actor she missed exploring different roles. Paying heed to her calling, she  made a graceful exit from the show last year.

Next she was seen in shows like Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhla Ja that allowed her to showcase her versatility as an actress who has earlier acted in a mythological show Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi and then, played a pivotal role in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. Now, seeing her mark the 1000th episode of Zee TV’s top serial Kumkum Bhagya with her stellar performance, her fans who missed her sorely on TV tuned in to an even large number. Guess what? Yet again the serial topped the BARC chart.

Elated by her brand new sexy avatar, Dipika also posted a stunning picture of her on Instagram. Otherwise clad in six yards and loaded with lavish jewellery, this time Dipika showed her boho chic side to us. Teaming up her Indo-western ensemble with a statement mangtikka, she looked like a vision. You go girl…

Bigg Boss 11 Fashionista: Hina Khan wins over Shilpa Shinde

With the end of Bigg Boss season 11, we know very well who the winner is - much deserved and very predictable, ghar ki Maa, Shilpa Shinde.
