The Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar is the toast of the town. She is not only India’s pride on the global platforms but also looked upon as the next big thing in Bollywood. The way she is regular at Bollywood events and have been hobnobbing with the bigwigs of the industry, taking up films appears to be her next step.

But that’s not a new phenomenon. If you see the track record of beauty pageant winners, except for Reita Faria (Miss World 1966), everyone ended up in Bollywood. No matter how much these beauty queens talk about charity work or boast of their academic excellence, ultimately they give in to the razzle-dazzle of Bollywood. A few of them continue the charity work on the side-lines though. From Zeenat Aman, Aishwarya Rai to Priyanka Chopra and now Manushi Chillar, the trend continues. None of them want to pursue a career in business, writing or any other field but Bollywood. So will it be right to say that the beauty pageants are now the ticket to Bollywood? To a certain extent, yes!

Coming back to Manushi. She has got all the trappings of becoming a Bollywood star. About acting, that most of the actresses learn on-job. But when it comes to styling, she is on-point. Just recently, she walked the red carpet at the Mirchi Music Awards in a monochromatic dress. But the real winner was her jewellery. The feather-like pattern of the earrings was a design marvel. Plus, the matching rings and bracelets, added the extra bling to her evening look. Must say, she is surely style-ready for Bollywood.

Bigg Boss 11 Fashionista: Hina Khan wins over Shilpa Shinde

With the end of Bigg Boss season 11, we know very well who the winner is - much deserved and very predictable, ghar ki Maa, Shilpa Shinde. While Shilpa gave a tough competition to Hina to give a marginal defeat in the finale, but we cannot agree more than if Bigg Boss Season Finale was to be judged with the best fashion sense, then it would have been none other than Hina Khan. While from the beginning of the show Hina has been the reason of controversy for her opinions and for being too harsh with her contestants, we cannot deny the fact that she was the most fashionable one. Shilpa Shinde bags the winning trophy for Bigg Boss Season 11
